Atlantic City by Train

From Philadelphia:

New Jersey Transit Rail runs direct from Philadelphia’s 30^th Street Station. For more information call (800) 772-2222. Round trip fares are $12 and take about 105 minutes each way. Free shuttle service is available from the Atlantic City terminal to all the casinos.

From New York

Take Amtrak from Penn Station to Philadelphia, then connect to the New Jersey Transit trains at the 30^th Street Station. The total cost is $84 for a two-seat round trip fare. The ride takes almost three hours each way.
