Michael Grant looks more like a tight end or a power forward than he does a heavyweight
fighter. He has the smile of a Ken Griffey jr. and almost as good a demeanor, but don't
let the charm fool you this kid is for real. His last two wins came over two
outstanding young heavyweights David Izon and Obed Sullivan. grant is fast and powerful a
lethal combination for a man of his size.Michael
does have one major flaw America doesn't know him yet. Since he is a unrecognizable
fighter the bigger names in the division will keep avoiding him. It will be very tough for
him to get a fight with a Holyfield, Lewis or Tyson. He may be lucky just to get some of
the divisions mid level talent like David Tau or Hasim Rahman into the ring. Boxing
history does teach us that if you do keep knocking them out your chance will come. Michael
Grants probably won't come before the year 2000.
