Marvel at the voice of
Johnny Maestro and The Bridge's trademark vocal and horn arrangements when Johnny Maestro
and The Brooklyn Bridge perform in the the Superstar Theatre at Resorts Casino Hotel.
Maestro received national
recognition for the song "Sixteen Candles," which he recorded early in his
career with a group from Manhattan called The Crests. A string of hits followed, including
"Trouble in Paradise," "Step by Step," "The Angels Listened
In," and "Six Nights A Week." In the early 60's Maestro began working with
the Del-Satins, a local New York City vocal group, who were the background vocalists on
all of Dion's solo efforts. The Del-Satins merged with a seven-piece band the Rhythm
Method, and together they formed The Brooklyn Bridge.

It was in the early 1960's
when Brooklyn-raised Jay Black was asked to become the lead singer of a group that was to
dominate the record charts for years to come. His distinctive and resonant voice has been
the foundation for such smash hits as "Cara Mia," "Some Enchanted
Evening," "This Magic Moment," "Walkin' In The Rain,"
"Sunday and Me," (Neil Diamond's first hit as a song writer) and "Only In
American." In 1964, Jay Black and the Americans recorded their biggest hit,
"Come A Little Bit Closer," which had been written by the legendary songwriting
duo of Tommy Boyce and Bobby Heart. The song's brilliance took it to Number Three on the
charts and solidified the group's reputation as a hit-producing machine.
Nostalgia, excitement and
good times will rock Harrah's Broadway By The Bay Theatre when Jay Black & the
